MIZZOU Blackout Uniform Concept

I did some MIZ ZOU helmet concepts a little while back and this week I started working on uniforms for my favorite helmet. This is the first version of a football version of an earlier basketball concept. I have a few more ideas but I figured I would start with the black on black look to start. Let me know what you think. I will be posting more Mizzou stuff this week and next leading up to the A&M game which if you have an extra ticket or two I would love to take off your hands. Here is part two of the black concepts

I think the current matte black helmet with reflective tiger striping would be a cool look. The MIZ ZOU on either side salutes the chant of the fans during the game. I also added the old MU logo to the neckline and the sleeves because I like it. If nothing else I hope this makes nike want to step up their game because they mailed in the Mizzou Uniform redesign.

Arizona State SunDevils Flame Helmet A Better Version

In back to back days Arizona State has rolled out new helmets that look blah. Both helmets look like someone had an ok idea, then someone else ran and threw it in photoshop, then someone else made it. I like fast but the only one little issue is that the helmets they spent all of that money to make should have never left the laptop that they were created on. These helmets should have been a starting point for an idea not the end point for production. Bravo Nike you have done it again rushed a bad design to market because everyone will stop and all OMG that is great becky look at that helmet because you have trained the public not to question you. So, warning all NCAA schools, NIKE, Adidas, Under Armour, Russell, etc… pick up the phone and call me before you go drop how every many grand on a lid.

Northwestern Wildcats Homecoming Helmets That Could Have Been

A few months back during the the summer I was contacted to help create a new over the top helmet for Northwestern to wear for homecoming. I spent a few weeks coming up with some ideas shooting emails back and forth with people in the program and a few alumni. Below are some of those ideas. A concept was picked and some samples were made but sadly someone with more power vetoed the idea in the end because it was too flashy. You can see what the helmet would have looked like with the uniform here. You can also see the design on the back of the helmet featuring the Northwestern N. If you want to see one of these helmets on the field let the people with veto power know because they have the power to make it happen.
